The next ASA Conference will be held in Hobart on 9-10 August 2019. The Conference Organising Committee has chosen Awe and Wonder as the theme.
ASA encourages principals, chaplains, senior staff, members of school councils and clergy to attend the conference.
As well a full conference program, the official program is preceded by a Chaplains' Networking Program and an Emerging Leaders Program.
A copy of the Conference Brochure will be made available in early 2019.
A copy of the Registration Form will be available in early 2019.
ASA's Management Committee provides a limited number of sponsored conference registrations for attendance at the annual Conference. The funding covers registration costs, not accommodation or travel. This is to assist Heads of Schools and their Deputies, Senior Staff, Chaplains, Religious Educators, boarding and pastoral leaders in Australian Member schools who have been unable to attend an Annual Conference, or whose school budgets for professional learning, would otherwise prevent attendance.

Lights, Camera, Action! ASA has launched a new initiative in 2019 aimed at including students in our annual ASA Conference.
The Student Celebration invites schools to select a community service or service learning project, make a two-minute student video clip and submit the clip to ASA. One video from each State will be screened throughout the ASA Conference, and the selected school from the Conference home state, will be given a short time slot to show their video clip and speak about their service project. So get your school on board and start filming. Click here for an entry form.
