Andrew Stewart is one of the Chaplains at Mentone Grammar School in Melbourne and has nearly twenty-five-years’ experience working in Anglican schools.
Coming from a background in youth ministry, Andrew felt called to school chaplaincy when he was ordained. He finds working in an Anglican school a deeply rewarding experience. Having been a long-time attender of ASA Conferences, Andrew finds the opportunity to network with others really valuable.
Andrew has chaired the ‘Chaplains in Anglican Schools Network’ in Victoria for twelve years. He oversees ‘A Place for Mission’ blog, the national Anglican chaplains’ blog. As someone who has really appreciated the support provided by Anglican Schools Australia, Andrew jumped at the opportunity to give something back when asked to join the ASA Management Committee.
Andrew is a passionate reader, sometime Lego builder, and enjoys spending time with his family and annoying his daughters with his Dad jokes.
