Registrations are now open for the 2021 ASA Virtual Conference which will be held on 12-13 August 2021

What does it mean for Anglican schools to be at the intersection of faith and learning?

Join us as we dive deep into the considerations and factors this exciting theme lends its self to.  We look forward to welcoming you to our first VIRTUAL Conference hosted by the Melbourne Conference Committee.

The ASA Management Committee is offering a limited number of sponsored places to attend the 2021 ASA Virtual Conference.

The Committee is mindful of the benefits gained from attending an annual conference and recognises that there is a cost burden on some schools to allow staff to attend.

Applications can be made to assist Heads of Schools and their Deputies, Senior Staff, Chaplains, Religious Educators, boarding and pastoral leaders in Australian Member schools who have been unable to attend an Annual Conference, or whose school budgets for professional learning would otherwise prevent attendance.

Sponsorship will cover the cost of Registration, as no travel or accommodation costs are incurred this year.

Applicants are asked to complete
this form, to be approved by the Principal, and forward it to the ASA Secretariat by Friday 30 July 2021.

ASA provides a strong connection for Principals, Board members and staff of Anglican schools across the country. Our annual conference enables like-minded people to get together, discuss, and debate issues that are common to us all in our roles and our schools.

Opportunities on such a large scale covering a wide range of schools are unique and extremely valuable. It is not often that Principals, Chaplains, Board members and staff can hear the same message from inspirational speakers and share ideas and reflections in a dedicated time and space. ASA invites school leaders to engage in this conference by attending with a variety of staff and governing body members.

In addition, there are specialist days held for both Chaplains and Emerging Leaders prior to the Conference. The programs enable Chaplains to gather and delve into specific areas of the role, and for emerging leaders to gain advice and guidance from experienced Heads on leading our schools into the future.
