The next ASA Conference will be held in Melbourne on 13-14 August 2021.
Originally planned for 2020, the conference has been rescheduled to 2021 due to the restrictions associated with the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The theme of the 2021 conference is Intersection. Anglican schools, grounded in faith, recognise the dynamic relationships of faith and learning in a broad, vibrant education. The 2021 conference will explore what it means for Anglican schools to be at the intersection of faith and learning.
The Conference Program will be launched in early 2021.
ASA provides a strong connection for Principals, Board members and staff of Anglican schools across the country. Our annual conference enables like-minded people to get together, discuss, and debate issues that are common to us all in our roles and our schools.
Opportunities on such a large scale covering a wide range of schools are unique and extremely valuable. It is not often that Principals, Chaplains, Board members and staff can hear the same message from inspirational speakers and share ideas and reflections in a dedicated time and space. ASA invites school leaders to engage in this conference by attending with a variety of staff and governing body members.
In addition, there are specialist days held for both Chaplains and Emerging Leaders prior to the Conference. The programs enable Chaplains to gather and delve into specific areas of the role, and for emerging leaders to gain advice and guidance from experienced Heads on leading our schools into the future.
